Lighthearted Leaves - SIP#10

Hi Again!

Today I wanted to play along with the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #10 why not head on over and check out the designers awesome creations.

This is the inspiration board used

This pictured inspired me to create a card using Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Basic Gray & Silver Embossing. Also with these colours I thought was perfect for creating a Christmas card with the stamp set Lighthearted Leaves and will be available for you to purchase from the new Holiday Catalogue on the 1st September 2015.

I have heat embossed the 2 leaves in Silver and shaded in using the Stampin' Up! markers in matching colours, then die cut with the Leaflets Framelits.
Cherry Cobbler panel is embossed with the Woodlands TIEF and adhered to a piece of Basic Gray cardstock.
Sentiment is heat embossed in Cherry Cobbler on Crumb Cake cardstock and layered on to an A5 Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

Hearth & Home Double Window

Hi Again!

Do you think I am in love with the new Hearth & Home Framelits???

Well yes I am!
I blogged a card using this technique a couple of days ago and thought I better show you how it is created.

Here is the technique to show you how to make the double frame window to put in front of any scene you like.

Today I have gone for a nice summer tranquil scene.
Wouldn't it be nice to have this view.

To create the double window, place the die on cardstock then laying the top acrylic plate nearly all the way to the edge as pictured. Run through your bigshot.

Once run through take cardstock out and turn around, place die onto cardstock overlapping to the inside edge of frame already cut. Place top acrylic plate just to the edge of the inside of outer edge as pictured. Run through Bigshot.

This is how your double window pane should look once done. You can cut out vertical lines to make 2 panes in each frame instead of 4.

The stamp set used on this card is a retired set called "Moon Lake"

Embellished Ornaments - CYCI#82

Hi Again!

Today I wanted to play with the Embellished Ornaments stamp set and Delicate Ornaments Thinlits, these are a beautiful coordinating set.

Don't you love how Stampin' Up! coordinate everything!

Here I have taken a piece of Whisper White and randomly stamped the long narrow bauble in Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow. Layer that on to a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
Using the Bigshot cut the main solid piece in Cherry Cobbler, then using the intricate die cut out using Silver Glimmer Paper. Adhere the 2 pieces together. Stamp sentiment onto Whisper White and layer onto a piece of Mossy Meadow.
Assemble card as shown below

Hearth & Home - Aussie Christmas Scene

Hi Again!

Not long now till you guys can order the new products from the Holiday catalogue out on the 1st September! I can't wait for this to happen for you as your gonna LOVE the Christmas items.

Today I got to play with the Hearth & Home Thinlits, I started out with a single frame window but was not happy and wanted to take up more room on the front of the card. Hence a double window which was easy to do.
Cut 2 frames and join together on the middle seam.

In Australia Christmas is quite warm (hot really) so I wanted a scene to reflect this by using the Happy Scenes stamp set.

I hope you like this card

If The Broom Fits

Hi Again!

I was so excited to see a parcel pickup note from the post office this morning I just new it was my Big Brown Box from SU with all my new goodies from the new Holiday Catalogue.
I do not buy Halloween stamp sets but when looking through the catalogue this one I am using today just screamed at me to buy it.

Stamp set is called If The Broom Fits - and I so thought of my mum when I seen it as we are always telling her to get on her broom - she keeps telling us that it is the twentieth century and has upgraded to a vacuum cleaner.

Inside panel ( bahaha) is stamped using the Alphabet rotary stamp an sentiment is from Happy Birthday Everyone

This card below was my first try
