Our Theme is "One"- Sam set a challenge for us to only use One ink, One cardstock, One DSP, One Thinlit, One stamp set to show you that with a limited amount of product you can design amazing things. It also keeps things simple which is what you need when you have lot's of products to choose from.

Here is my creation

I have used the Number Of Years Stamp set, Large Numbers Framelits and Birthday Bouquet DSP. My one colour is Crumb Cake

Balloon Celebration Sneak Peek Occasions 2016

Hello All!

Today I had a quick play with the Balloon Celebration stamp set an Balloon Bouquet Punch in the 2016 Occasions catty. Now this set was fun and you can save yourself 15% when you buy it as a bundle from the 5th January.

I love photopolymer stamps as you can bend them when placing on your acrylic blocks to make the stamp curve more

Sky Is The Limit - Occasions 2016 Sneak Peek

Hello Again!

Today I got to play with the "Sky Is The Limit" stamp set that you can get for FREE when you spend $90 from either or both the Occasions & Annual Catalogues starting 5th January 2016

I have used the Aqua Painters to colour a piece of Shimmer White cardstock in Soft Sky & Marina Mist. Stamped clouds in Marina Mist.

Occasions 2016 Sneak Peak - Rose Wonder

Hello Again!

I am so happy to have had time today to play with the Rose Wonder stamp set from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue, which you will be able to purchase from on the 5th January - Are you getting excited??

Well I have to say you MUST put this one on your wish list also.

I do love how this turned out and I can say it looks better in real life.

I have used the Stampin Write Markers to colour this gorgeous flower.

Below you will also find a video tutorial on how I achieved the colour I wanted using these markers,

Wild Wasabi, Always Artichoke & Mossy Meadow on leaves

Real Red & Cherry Cobbler on flower.

Occasions 2016 Sneak Peak - A Nice Cuppa

Hi Again!

OK time for for to sit back relax with A Nice Cuppa! 
Well that is exactly what I did after making this card using yet another new set "A Nice Cuppa" from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue. 
Used also are the coordinating Have A Cuppa Designer Series Paper stack and Embellishments, you are going to love this suite.

To stamp this I have used the "Thumping" technique, this is where you ink stamp with a light colour then using your markers just lightly tapping onto stamp randomly with darker tones. Once you have done this "Huff" (breath on stamp to re-activate ink) then stamp.

Colours I have used are Wisteria Wonder as base then Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo & Bermuda Bay markers.

Sneak Peak Occasions 2016 - Timeless Textures

Hello Again!

Are you ready for another sneak peak.

Well I had so much fun yesterday doing the video on the Blooming Hearts card I couldn't wait to get back in a create another card today.

On this card I have used Timeless Textures.

Oh My Gosh I love love love this set!

The sentiment is from the Picture Perfect set stamped onto Vellum and layered onto a framelit from Rose Garden thinlits.

I will be using those two sets in the next few days so stay tuned.

Colours used to create this card front are, Smoky Slate, Basic Grey Archival, Basic Black Archival inks on a piece of Whisper White.

The front is then layered onto Basic Black using dimensionals.
