Beautiful Bunch - Petite Petals

I wanted a break from the Occasions Catalogue to make some flowers while hubby is in hospital (nothing major this time round, he is getting stent removed, poor fella has had 5 surgeries since October 2014 - hopefully this is last one ever).
So I started stamping an punching and I lost track of how many I had done and by the time I finished I had made ten or so.
So I thought I better make a card for some of them.

I love how the flowers turned out and there will be instructions below on how to make them.

If you have any questions please contact me.
I hope you like this card

First you will need to stamp and punch 3 each of the gorgeous matching flowers from the Beautiful Bunch & Petite Petals stamp sets. Here I have stamped in Soft Suede then sponged in the new Color Box Chalk Ink Rose Coral from the Occasions Catalogue

Next you will turn flowers over and spritz with water

Once wet, pinch together the ends on all 6 petals on all flowers

Yes they don't look very nice at the moment but let flowers completely dry
before moving on to next step. They should look similar to these.

You will need something with a rounded end (I have used one of my old Acrylic Nail Brushes with the brush removed) or use your stylus from your score board. Run around the centre on a really soft pad to curve centre up

This is how it will look after running circles in centre, do this to all flowers. Now pull apart each of the petals a little so they are not so squished.

Next you will layer flowers off setting each one so they look like in picture. When adding the smaller flowers do the same off setting but really squish the last one in to create the centre.

Finished flower

This flower I coloured using Real Red to stamp then sponged ends with Cherry Cobbler, then spritzed with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch
