Australian Christmas - Wonderland

Hi All!

We are getting into much warmer weather now and my mojo is coming back - YAY - so today I have created another Australian themed Christmas card.

Here I have used Wonderland & Cozy Christmas stamp set's

To do the back ground I have swiped over the whole a piece of Whisper White card stock with So Saffron ink pad. Then I placed a 2 1/2 inch circle where I wanted the sun and started to sponge around first with Pumpkin Pie, then Crumb Cake and Soft Suede around the edges. Remove the circle then lightly swipe across the sun with Pumpkin Pie, then Crumb Cake and add a shadow of White where you want.

The hills are sponged in Mossy Meadow. To finish off stamp the trees in foreground then stamp off and stamp in background.
Add your sleigh and sentiment as you wish.

I hope you like this card

Wonderland - PPA270

Hi All!

Again another beautiful day here in rural Australia - Today's temp is a nice 35 deg Celsius (95 Fahrenheit) and it's only Spring! Sometimes I wish we had snow at Christmas time then I think nah I on't like cold weather.

Today I am playing along with the Pals Paper Arts challenge

I adore this colour combination
Here I made a shaker card with an extended window, a full list of products used will be listed below

I am also a nail technician and wanted some snow so I raided my glitter stash

To create the long window, place your top cutting pad as in photo's - to the edge bottom of the frame before last window edge. Run through Bigshot

Take out and remover pieces then turn around and line up Die so it lines up with the bottom line in piece you previously cut. Place top cutting pad just on the edge so it does not cut the top part.

Finished cut

If you would like to watch this Youtube Video but do it from end to end

I hope you like this card.

Be sure to head on over to the Pals Paper Arts challenge and check out the designers creations.

An Open Heart - Mojo Monday #417

Hi All!

Well I think I am getting back on track with my creating and blogging and with the awesome inspiration of playing along with the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge it has led me to today's card.

Here I have used the "An Open Heart" stamp set.

This was easy as I wanted to keep card clean and simple but I think my dots are too big.

Don't forget to pop on over to the Mojo Monday blog and check out the design team cards.

If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Angela Lorenz.

Today I wanted to use the gorgeous "Christmas Cuties" stamp set.
Isn't she just a sweet angel.
I have stamped her in the new Black Archival Ink Pad available from the Holiday catty. I have coloured her wings using a versamark pen then heat embossed in gold, also added the same around the edges then punched and
layered onto  Gold foil.
The beautiful vellum is from the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum stack.

This card I have use the Softly Falling TIEF on the backing piece.
