An Open Heart - Global Design Project 008

Hi All!

Well I don't know what happened to our lovely weather, the last couple of day's it feels like winter again. Good time to stay in craft room I suppose hehe although we don't need excuses!

Today I am playing along with the Global Design Project again. Make sure you head on over and check out the designers awesome creations.

So this week we have to case the designer and the designer just happens to be my upline Kylie Bertucci!!

Here is my take on her card.

On this card I have used "An Open Heart" stamp set. I have used the triple stamping method. To achieve this cut your desired pieces of whisper white cardstock to suit how you want the layout to look. Place the pieces onto your craft mat in the layout then using a tiny bit of snail on each piece to hold in place while stamping. 

Stamp over the entire layout.

Disassemble and add a backing piece of cardstock to each piece. Re-assemble lining up the images as in picture.

To get this colour I inked up the image in Versamark then inked in Blushing Bride, then stamp image on Vellum. Add Clear Embossing powder and heat set.

Using the Circles Collection Framelits cut image out then create a border in Mossy Meadow card stock using two of the circles framelits.

I have used Mossy Meadow & Blushing Bride.

Cozy Christmas - Mojo Monday 420

Barnyard Babies - GDP007

Hi All!

Today I am playing along with the Global Design Project challenge.

I only have one stamp set that is related to this challenge and yes please forgive me for passing the little chicks off as ducks. These are from the Barnyard Babies set - aren't they just the cutest!

This is a very quick & easy card to put together

For the background I have use a retired mask for the ray of sunshine

For my Fun Fold I have created a Wedding Exploding Box Card

These are my most popular items I create and sell, I also have so much fun creating them.

Cake decorated with rolled flowers of Whisper White and Basic Black card stock. Using 7/8, 1-1/4 & 1-3/4 scallop Circle punches, punch then cut around the inside edge of each to just leave the scallop then roll and glue.

Big News - PPA272

Hi All!

Today I have created a card for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge. This layout was perfect for a wedding card which come in handy as I had to create one for a customer. Be sure to head on over to their blog an check out the designers cards.

Blended Bloom - SIP#18

Hi All!

 Well it is another gorgeous day here! I am very happy to get into craft room and create a card for the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge.

Today I have used the Blended Bloom stamp and the birthday sentiment from the Cottage Greetings set. I love this colouring in this gorgeous flower.

If you have not noticed before I am not a big fan of Designer Series Papers and prefer to create my own backgrounds. The birthday sentiment is stamped continuously on Whisper White using So Saffron ink with the aid of the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, this is such a handy tool.

Big News - GDP#006

Hi All!

We are certainly getting into Shorts & T-Shirt weather now yippee!!!

Today I am playing along with the Global Design Project  #GDP006

Here I have used the Chalk Lines and Big News stamp sets

The hearts an sentiment are stamped in Versamark an heat embossed in Gold powder. Wriggly lines are stamped in Mint Macaron.

I have punched from Gold Foil sheet using the heart from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and adhered an Epoxy Heart accent on top.

Everything Eleanor - Birthday Blossoms

Hi All!

This morning I wanted to combine two challenges, so I have created this card for the Pals Paper Arts & Just Add Ink

On this one I have stamped the floral image from the Everything Eleanor set in versamark them heat embossed in clear powder on Whisper White. Then sponged randomly over it with Old Olive, Hello Honey & Soft Suede. Wipe excess ink from embossed image once done.

Base of card of stamped randomly using Gorgeous Grunge in Hello Honey.

Sentiment is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set and is stamped in Soft Suede.

Strip of Soft Suede card stock in embossed using the Woodgrain TIEF.
