That Thing You Did - Greetings Thinlits

Hi All

Well it's another day so here's another card!

Today I have used the new Greetings Thinlits and I love the script in this set. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from the "That Thing You Did" stamp set.

Backing piece of card stock is Blushing Bride and embossed using Fluttering Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. This folder is a great size of 15.2 15.2 cm which is a perfect size if you want to make a 6 x 6 inch card.

The bow is the new Dotted lace Ribbon in Tip Top Taupe, isn't is gorgeous??

One Big Meaning- Timeless Elegance

Hi All!

Well it's a bit chilly here as winter is now upon us so staying inside and crafting all day is a much better idea.
I am so in love with the Timeless Elegance DSP that I had to make another card with it, here I have used the Deco Labels Framelits to cut all pieces.
To do this you will only need one piece of DSP trimmed to 4 inch x 5 - 5/8 inch (normal card front size) then the other piece will be plain card stock just large enough to cut using the largest of the dies. I have included a picture below to show you how they will look after cutting.

We try to save paper all the time (well I do) so to do this I have cut all pieces I need from just the two.

Timeless Elegance - Garden In Bloom

Hi All!

Well guess what???

My Big Brown Box of goodies turned up - Finally

Now it is time to seriously play, but I had a problem.....

Arghhh what to play with first, they are all so pretties

OK so here I started with the Timeless Elegance DSP it is absolutely gorgeous and trust me you have to get yourself a pack.

I used a sponge dauber to lightly shade the big heavy flower's in Blushing Bride.

Sentiment is from the Garden In Bloom stamp set.

On pack of Timeless Elegance is say's best coordinating colours are Basic Black, Very Vanilla & Sahara Sand. I have actually used Basic Grey as I think the Black was too heavy a colour.

A quick card for today using the new Friendly Wishes stamp set from the 2015/2016 Annual Catalogue. I love the Gold embossed vellum and Pink Pirouette paired together. I have also used Brushed Gold cardstock which is sadly retired.

Best Thoughts - Hostess Set

Hi All

Well it's a long weekend here and now have time to play in the craft room. Not quite the playing I wanted to do as my Big Brown Box did not turn up so when Tuesday comes around it is going to be a very busy day when it does arrive with all my new goodies.

Oh and I can not wait to share with you all what will be in it!

So in the mean time will craft with what I have from the new catty!

On this card I have used one of the new Hostess set's called "Best Thoughts" isn't it just gorgeous.

Here I have stamped and heat embossed in Black on a piece of vellum, once set turn over and take your stylus and gently run in circles in the petals.

Paper Wedding Cake - Beautiful Bunch

Woo Hoo only a few hours away from the new catalogue going live!!!

Who is super excited...Me Me Me

I wanted to make a celebratory cake, but wanted a non fattening one. So today I have made this two tier cake from all Stampin'Up! products.

While making this today my hubby actually said I should have another level but if he knew how long it took me to do all the flowers he would not have said that lol.

To create this cake I have covered 2 different size hat boxes with Whisper White an glued the tiers together.

Folding Box Card

Hi All!

I am sooo waiting for the new catalogue release that I have trying to keep my mind busy.

Today I made myself a birthday card - Folding Box Card, I did put a little too much into it as I can not close it properly to put in an envelope...Lucky it's for me lol

On this card I have used several different stamp sets and punches an there will be a full list at the end of this post.

I have curled (rolled) the flowers edges to make them a little puffy.
