Occasions 2016 - Botanical Builder

Hello again!

This morning I have a lovely time making flowers from the Botanical Builders framelits and got a little carried away (got lots made) so I thought I better add some to a card.

This one I used the Bokeh technique on the flowers as well as the card base and panel. Colours used for background were Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie, leaves Mossy Meadow and Old Olive.

I had a little trouble when I went to add the sentiment as the Embossing Powder wanted to stick to the Craft White ink. Wrecked one piece so started another but then I dried it with the heat gun then used dust buddy. Result not as good as I wanted but it was alot better than first attempt.

Number Of Years

I keep changing my mind on which is my favourite stamp set from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue. I have to be honest I think this is the best catty out so far. There are too many wonderful "must have" set's.

Today I played again with the Number Of Years Bundle, and I love how this card turned out.

I also have a thing with Crumb Cake & Blushing Bride lately which isn't a bad thing as they go really well together.

Number of Years is a photopolymer set and the best thing about that is you can straighten or bend the stamps to suit your needs. Here I stretched out the sentiment so I can stamp it in a straight line.

Rose Garden - GDP017

Well I am extremely sleep deprived today and the brain was a little foggy to be crafting, so nanna nap before craft time has now inspired me to create this project for the Global Design Project Challenge.

I have used the Rose Garden Framelits from the New Occasions Catalogue to create a mask so I can colour with sponges. Then before removing mask completed with the Bokeh effect.

To cut the mask, run a scrap piece of cardstock through big shot then clean out the bits you will not need. Stick outline back into frame it was cut from with a bit of tape. Now you are ready to sponge the image
