Mojo Monday 404 - I Think You're Great

Hi All!

It's an absolutely gorgeous morning here, the sun is shining but still cold so it's the best weather to stay indoors.

Well it's Mojo Monday challenge time again - well here in Australia it is Tuesday but I am loving playing along. So this morning when I checked my email there it was a beautiful sketch just waiting to be made.

All the challenge details are over on the Mojo Monday blog and you can also view all the wonderful Mojo Makers samples.

Today I am using I Think You're Great stamp set with the Go Wild Designer Series Paper.

Here I have stamped the sentiment in Tip Top Taupe and Clear embossed

I hope you like this card

Vintage Leaves

Hi All!

I hope you all are having a fine day because I know I am. I started out making leaves this morning for no reason just wanted to play with the new set Vintage Leaves and matching die just to see what I can do with them. My son came in and said why am I bringing leaves out of the garden bahaha.

Well they are not out of the garden and I wasn't sure how I could arrange them on a card so I decided to stamp several of the different leaves on a piece of Whisper White cardstock in various shades of browns, then just laid the leaves on background.
Well it sort of just worked out from there that I knew what else I wanted on the card.

Leaves are stamped in Versamark then sponged over with Autumn colours. Scrunch up a little before adding to card front.

I hope you like this card

Watercolor Wings

Hi All!

Well I can certainly say winter is well upon us here in the sticks of Oz. Have the fire going to keep warm as there is a nice frost outside. So as usual it's an awesome day to stay inside (even hubby volunteered to do the grocery shopping so I don't have to go out, he really is one of a kind)

Today I wanted to again play with the Watercolor Wings stamp set and I must say this is a stamp set everyone HAS to have.

Here I have stamped the centre butterfly first, then I have used the matching die cut from the Bold Butterfly framelits to enable me to use as a mask to overlap the top and bottom images. After I was happy with how the images turned out I stamped Sentiment on vellum then tucked under cardstock on both sides leaving enough so it stays raised before I layered on a piece of  DSP from the Brights collection.

I hope you like this card

Garden In Bloom

Hi All!

Today I am playing with the stamp set "Garden In Bloom" but I am still not happy with how I stamp with this one...May have to keep practicing. Or it just may be that I don't do 2 step stamping well enough yet but I will let you be the judge of that.
I do love that the set comes with many stamps including a butterfly and a bee, and they are just too cute.

Tomorrow I am going to use Wild About Flowers which is another 2 step set so be sure to check back and check it out.

Skating By

Hi All!

Yay...
We finally have rain here, I can not remember when we last had really good rain and it feels awesome and was a very good excuse to stay indoors and craft.
So today I wanted to play with the stamp set "Skating By"
This set is awesome as you can use one of the many items to put in his hand.

As you can see I went with the guitar and am pretty happy with the way this card turned out.

I hope you like this card

Best Thoughts - Mojo Monday 402

Hi All.
Well I have thought about entering the Mojo Monday for quite some time now so today I have finally done it. Oh my gosh this was so much fun and was a challenge for me as I usually just pick a stamp set and go for it.

I have been really liking the "Shadow Stamping" lately and thought I could use this technique for this challenge.
Here I have used Craft White and Tip Top Taupe combined with the
"Best Thoughts" stamp set.

Shadow stamping is: you stamp in white then in stamp again in the card stock coordinating colour that you are going to use, stamp just off to line of the first image.

I hope you like this card.

Sprinkles of Life

Hi All!

Well the weekend is over and we had a busy 2 day's of catalogue launch. The ladies had so much fun playing with all the new products and learning new techniques (new to them lol)

Firstly is today's card using Sprinkles of Life stamp set, Tree Builder Punch and Tree Builder Punch. Here I have stamped 3 of the clouds aka Ice-cream in coordinating colours then added a touch of Silver Dazzling Details to give a frosty look.
Layer punched ice-cream onto each other then place over cone. Punch two banner's one at 2 inch and 1 at 1 3/4 inch in colours of your choice and stamp sentiment on the smaller piece, layer on top and tie a bow around banner. assemble any way you like on the card front.

I hope you like this card

Here are some photo's from the catalogue launch, be sure to check out link for Jessica Vant (who is an awesome photographer) to see more of the weekend's events

Also available is the Sweet Stack stamp set to compliment the kit.

Lettering , banners, poles ect are all included in the kit.
Please note the stars are an added extra.

On the sides of the cakes slices I have used the Chalk Lines stamp set

Baker's Box

Hi All!
Well today I had a busy day but made time to play with the Baker's Box Thinlits. These are so cute and can be used for all types of occasions - children's parties - small gift packages - whatever takes your fancy.
I have stamped these using the Dots for Day's background stamp in all five of the new In-Colours. Sentiment and butterfly are from the Watercolor Wings stamp set.

Check em out, they are so cute!
